My name is Joie Sui. I'm a motion graphic designer, and a team player based in Los Angeles.
I'm athletic; I play a lot of basketball in my free time. Playing basketball and motion design both require resilience and strategy. I can control my animation on screen like I control the ball on the court. The best calculated arcs of the basketball make the most shots, and perfectly designed curves in keyframing add the most energy to every scene. In basketball, I play different positions according to my teammates' preferences; in the design team, I can work flexibly to collaborate with specific artists.
I enjoy having the support of a team around me, and also the opportunity to take the lead as we work together toward one unified goal.
